About
This blog is all about quotations. History itself is epitomized by the words of kings, saints, warriors and novelists; so we figured: why not epitomize a web site with words? And not all the many words that might fill a newspaper column or magazine article—just the bare essentials.
Contributors of SaidWhatBlog.com are charged with the task of collecting relevant quotes from the people in authority of today, as well as the people in authority of yesterday. As is commonly known—history has a habit of repeating itself, and the voices of those within it echo on paper between the little punctuations we call ‘quotation marks’.
We accomplish this task by probing radio airwaves, TV channels and the Internet.
With quotations, we hope to bring to surface the great issues of our time, and with open comments (and possibly a bit of editorializing), we hope to scrupulously discuss them.
This is a conservative site, so if you are a liberal, be prepared to defend yourself against the wiles of absolute truth, religion and fundamental moral principles. Inputs from both mental frameworks are of course welcome.
